Movies Galore

Their hearts pumping out of their chests as the lights dim and all they could see was a gigantic screen in front of them. They had come from the bus on their way to the X-treme screen in Hoyt's Cinema.

As the first movie began, the day of Thursday the 11th of November, Anasitasia sitting there, in the most comfortable chair she ever sat in, the Tamaki Cluster waiting patiently for the movies to begin. Thoughts suddenly ran through their heads as the 1st movie had been shown. Then one movie came on and the next one, and the next one, until finally it was St Pius X, Year 6-7 movie ‘Rewind’. Yells and screams came from every corner as the movie was about to begin.

Silence filled the room as the movie played through. An enormous sound of applause filled the room as the movie was slowly fading out. The whole Cluster clapped and cheered.

As the final movie finished and the lights came back on the St Pius X specifically meaning Room 6 were thinking of they best movie they liked, some students enjoyed ‘Jessie’ by a class at Pt England. As Anasitasia watched them all leave she looked at the bus arriving for St Pius X to ride in.

The whole thing took about 1 in a half hours for the whole session! WOW! That was long!! As Anasitasia walked onto the bus, excitement shot through her body like a bullet, as the students arrives at the school they all hoped out ready to eat lunch.

My Reflection and Hopes

Term3
To begin the third term I was so disappointed when we didn’t win the championship round in Netball but we atleast come second! I liked the Sharing Assembly because all the classes got to show their talent and present to the school what they had been doing in their classrooms.

Holidays
My best Holiday moment was when I went with my sisters to the Samoan White Sunday and were part of a lovely community. After the most wonderful White Sunday mass, we arrived at the hall with enthusiasm and had a big feast with our Priest, Father Iosefa and all the community was welcome. It was so overwhelming to be part of a Samoan Parish Community.

Expectations
What I am looking forward to this Term is the outcome of the Film Festival Movie which we will be filming backwards. Also the trip to the zoo that all the students from Year 0-6 will be going to. I Love the animals especially the seals and the lions.

Design of my groups Ice-cream

Our Ice-Cream was named ‘Chocolate Devils’ the feeling of the Ice-cream was cold as the North Pole as I stared at the delicate, milky, vanilla that was dumped in the mixture. The M and M’s were sprinkled along the vanilla leaving a trail of delicious Chocolate. The Crunchie crumbled into the mixture as Flakes were sprinkled into the bowl.

As I watch the ice-cream melt, I had a taste test, Oops! BRAIN FREEZE!!! That’s how cold it was!
The outcome of the ice-cream was Brilliant, unfortunately we didn’t win, but win or lose I walked out of the classroom with a smile on my face.
